Yet another lyric video for a video game theme.
Note: Yes I've created the lyrics, as with all my other lyric videos. "The Last of Us" is developed by Naughty Dog. The theme itself is composed by Gustavo Santaolalla. I am not officially affiliated in any way.

The earth turns back to dust
burning underneath the sun.
Towns crumble and rust,
it has begun.
The thriving of the hives
to which humanity submits.
The spread of artless disease
sifting through the still air.
Endure and survive,
breathe in and acquit.
The last of us.
A desperate cling to life,
mirror the trees and grass.
Emulate the vice,
turmoil takes its toll.
The strife comes, mankind falls.
Knowledge, morals
they fade and pass.
The memories, they all fall
of times long gone.
Cold air settles in,
the biting frost takes hold.
Are we the plague
we sought to destroy?
Melting away,
nature blooms.
