The Last of Us has returned for its second season with the premiere episode, ‘Future Days’, and with it comes this new official title sequence!
For this season’s titles, Pedro Pascal (Joel Miller) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie Williams) are joined by three new additions to the main cast.
These three are Gabriel Luna (Tommy Miller), Isabela Merced (Dina) and Young Mazino (Jesse).
The titles have also received a few visual changes towards the end of the sequence.
There is now more of a cold feel & aesthetic to the growing Cordyceps fungi that forms, and additionally, with the two fungi 'branches' that represent Joel and Ellie, Ellie now appears slightly taller, reflecting the passage of time since Season 1.
As well as this, the background colour of the fungi that forms behind the main logo at the end of the titles has now been changed from a red hue to white.
