I've had the itch lately to get back into EU4... and what better return from the grave than to play as the Purple Phoenix itself, our beloved Byzantium? This nation got a hefty rework in the King of Kings expansion a couple years back, and it's arguably even harder to get off the ground than before. But if you can survive deteriorating army and crippling trade, it can flourish like never before!
