JVC still sells a big loud portable CD Radio - it’s one of the last true boomboxes.

I bought my JVC RV-NB300DAB direct from the JVC website - it seemed to be the best deal.

CORRECTION - According to Daniel in the comments the FM radio can be controlled like this without the remote…
You can't manually tune the stations without the remote, but if you set the input to radio and then press the square STOP button on the boombox (which you'll notice is also "AUTO" on the remote) the radio presets will automatically be filled with all available radio stations (up to 30). Then just press forward and back to flip through them. You can also change the "scan settings" to "Strong Stations Only" for this mode where it will only fill the presets with stations it is picking up clearly.
