The manuscript from which these pieces are taken lies in the library of the Augustinian Abbey in Klosterneuburg, Austria, and dates from around the year 1700. I am playing from the Tree Edition of this work, edited with a forward by Michael Treder, who has skillfully grouped these pieces into "partitas," of which there are nineteen, along with a number of individual pieces, all of which I hope to record in time.
Please note that the last three pieces of this video are listed by Michael Treder as individual pieces and do not belong to the eighth "partita."
