The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga (PS5, PS2 Classics), "King of Fighters '97" Japan Team gameplay playthroughs. (Level 1 difficulty) (06/12/2026)
Here it is at last, the third and conclusion chapter to the Orochi Saga series, King of Fighters '97!!! ✊✊✊😼😼
So for my first run for this game here, I'll be playing as the heroic Japan Team for this final showdown against the powerful being known as Orochi... This is it, the final battles await!! Who shall be soon to be the strongest team yet in KOF '97!!!
--Since the last events in '96...
During the previous KOF 96 tournament, after since the fall of Omega Rugal in '95, Chizuru Kasuga, heir and shrine maiden of the Kasuga Shinto Shrine, and wield the power of the Yata Mirror, formed the next King of Fighters '96 tournament, as she's seeking some helps from stronger fighters in order to assist her from keeping the powerful threats of Orochi from being awakened from its seal again... Although, as Chizuru mentioned before too, the threat himself, Goenitz, aka the man who took Rugal's right eye and released the Orochi sealed power, did appeared before them, although even failed in attempt too.
Although in the secret edit team ending, the Sacred Treasure Team, both Kyo and Iori together defeated Goenitz, preventing him to escape with the wind, completely destroyed him. As though, since the rivalries between Kyo and Iori still burns inside them, they've parted way, and Chizuru will also soon called out to both of them soon, for the approaching final battle against the upcoming threats of Orochi...
