This is the group Ed Wideman sang bass for prior to his stint with J.D.Sumner and The Stamps Quartet. Ed died in a carcrash north of Toronto a few years after he had left the Stamps Quartet. William Lee Golden said of this group that they were The Imperials of Canada. Ed Wideman can been seen singing with Elvis at the Aloha from Hawaii special.
