Ingrid turned sixty this year and for her birthday we visited Botswana and some great game parks.
Nxai Pan is a special place. Bainse Boababs are stunning. Moremi is a wild place with good game viewing and tricky water crossings. I almost lost the Defender in very deep water. Snorkels are recommended. Navigating the park is difficult at the best of times. Bridges are often damaged and not repaired for years. That means some very long days driving to get to your next campsite.
It was a good adventure.
