Social media footage and satellite imagery documented a series of killings as Rapid Support Forces took over the Sudanese city of Al Fashir last week. Bellingcat looked at footage of one incident that took place on the outskirts of the city. A UN expert we spoke to said “if the images were genuine” they showed “unlawful killings under International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and International Criminal Law.”
