My review of “Pressure Machine”, album #7 by the American rock band The Killers. This marks the fastest turnaround between albums in their 20 year career, recorded during lockdown hot on the heels of their incredible 2020 outing “Imploding the Mirage”. Does a softer reflection on small town life and the return of guitarist Dave Keuning work in their favor?
