If you're aiming to get hired as a software engineer or web developer, it's not just about coding. About 70% of the process isn't related to coding at all.
In this video, I share the key steps to getting hired as a software engineer or web developer that worked for me; I show my LinkedIn, GitHub, and Portfolio, including my resume, which worked and the ones that didn't, and why networking is my number one skill to develop.
The key is to build an online presence with LinkedIn and GitHub, create a basic portfolio site, and continually network.
Sometimes you may need to relocate for better opportunities. And while getting a remote job as a junior developer can be tough, applying directly to companies can increase your chances.
