The 9th edition of the Global Trajectory Competitions was named "The Kessler Run" and was about removing 123 pieces of orbiting debris.
The differential drift of the ascending nodes made is rather complex to find a good "path" to remove them all.
The debris cloud is here visualized and the differential drift focused upon.
Note that the rotation perceived is not the Earth rotation, but the ascending node drift (~1 deg/day) due to the Earth oblateness.
