My name is Pamela Cass and I live in Northern California with my husband and 4+ feral cats. I am an Artist, Photographer, Archaeology Excavation Volunteer and Staff member, almost everyday family Genealogist, World Traveler and a Flower Grower enthusiast!
I have always been drawn to art and crafting… in college I received a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. I did a lot of technical illustrations and model making. During my working career I worked in Architecture and Graphics design.
Many years later, I have discovered new art and crafting… like Art Journaling, Mixed Media, Journal making, and all kinds of things that helped me find my passion for Eco Dying! My first try with Eco Dying was not so good, so I gave up. Then, six months later, I saw a few people trying Eco Dying and I decided to try it again, and again, and again… when on the 13th try I said, “I think I might be good at this!” I love the surprise… because with Eco Dying, you really never know what you are going to get! I have started growing my own flowers and plants for Eco Dying. I also collect from nature around me. … And in the Fall, I can be found at any parking lot and park picking up leaves…LOL!
When I’m not out collecting leaves and flowers… You can find me at my Etsy shop, ARTfulSalvageByPam and on Instagram, pamelacassart.
