I don't know where this came from, and I'm not sure I want to know.
This was more of an effort to try my directing skills... I worked really hard to make some good camera angles. The thing about a movie like Citizen Kane is that every camera angle is like looking at a beautiful photograph. If every camera angle is somehow pleasing to the eye, then it may not matter what the content is: you'll still watch because you're drawn to it. That's one reason I could watch Requiem for a Dream over and over, no matter how depressing it can be. It's just shot so well.
The only thing I thought about as I made this was: is this funny? It was fun to make... the idea seemed funny... but did it succeed as a comedic video? Maybe it's not laugh-out-loud funny, but it might still be "chuckle" funny.
The feedback I've gotten for this video suggests that this character, in order to fulfill his duty as an unnecessarily loud man, must interact with people.
I'll get some friends together and continue his journey... who knows where it'll go.

The 25th of my Reenactment Series.
Holy clusterf$#&, you guys must have picked the hardest, longest scene in any movie, with the most characters. This is a personal record: 8 characters, about 8 minutes of dialogue, totalling up to 9 minutes and 30 seconds... this is the biggest one yet... I hope I lived up to your expectations. Also, this is where I put my Steve Buscemi impersonation to the test... I think its getting better, but I need to exaggerate it more... make it higher and more nasally.
To those film students who worship the ground Quentin Tarantino walks on, this scene, let alone this movie, needs no introduction.
In this scene from Reservoir Dogs, eight crooks, hours before a big diamond heist, sit around a table in a diner and bullshit about the important stuff: tipping, Madonna, and K-Billys Supersounds of the 70s Weekend.
I should have known the top two requests would be Tarantino, the master of dialogue that can be incredibly cool while simultaneously be about nothing at all. This scene is a good example.
Pulp Fiction is last... Im thinking it may actually BE the last. After Pulp Fiction, theres a good chance Ill never do another reenactment again... so, Ill make it a good one.")

If this wasnt requested, I would have never done this one. Why? Because everyone else already has.
Still, it was fun. And to those of you saying I had a bad attitude about doing this scene: I still did the best that I could; I wouldnt half-ass a scene for you. Sometimes, an actor doesnt necessarily enjoy the work he does. Bob Hoskins HATED doing Super Mario Bros., but it doesnt show in his performance, even if it was a shitty movie.
Special thanks to my four-year-old nephew for letting me borrow his lightsabers and Darth Vader mask.

The 23rd of my Re-Enactment Series.
A few things:
1. No, I did not lip sync, I simply added reverb to the dialogue. The audio is a bit off thanks to the video being compressed onto Youtube. I wouldnt go Milli Vanilli on you.
2. Yes, I know I failed to put in the Sir-yes-sirs in the beginning, simply because I didnt feel like waiting an extra hour to re-do that an export it for a fifth time. Use your imagination.
In this scene from Stanley Kubricks Full Metal Jacket, new recruits for Vietnam are being lectured on their first day by Gunnery Sgt. Hartman, played by former real-life drill instructor R. Lee Ermey.
Its kind of a shame... the first 45 minutes of this film is amazing. The scenes that actually take place in Vietnam kind of drag. Still, Kubrick was awesome.
Good choice, guys. This is an awesome scene... ugh. The Reservoir Dogs one is even longer... you guys are making me work.")
