Copyright Alliance hosts an in-person World IP Day panel in keeping with the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) 2025 theme, IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP. In conjunction with the Creative Rights Caucus (CRC) and numerous organizations, we will hold a panel titled The Journey of Music: From the Human Heart to the Human Ear. In keeping with WIPO’s theme, our panel will take attendees through “how creativity and innovation, supported by intellectual property (IP) rights, keep music pulsing through our everyday lives.” It will also enable attendees to understand how music is created and how it is then transmitted to listeners across the world.
Opening remarks were delivered by Congresswoman Judy Chu (D-CA), who is a Co-Chair and Co-Founder of the CRC.
Additional remarks were later given by Congressman Ben Cline (R-VA)
