Do statistical facts showing that deaf people (and really, disabled people in general) being severely underemployed and unemployed mean that absolutely zero deaf people are employed? No. That’s why the term “underemployed” exists and why I said it. But three people out of 48 million minimum alone in the United States is… nothing to write home about, really. (Yes, there are more than three deaf people employed, but you get my point. At least, you should.)
It gives off the same energy as people saying they have a deaf family member so they know what deafness and discrimination against us is like.
