This Thursday, Jewish people in Israel and around the world will celebrate Shavuot, also known as the Feast of Weeks.

Shavuot remembers the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai and the offering of first fruits in Jerusalem. It is a holiday deeply connected to covenant, harvest, and God revealing Himself to His people.

For believers in Jesus, it is also impossible not to notice the connection to Pentecost and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
