The time has come for us to announce our celebrity entertainment of the evening! If you haven't heard the news already, Patti Labelle will be our entertainment for the 150th Gala with MC Lyte as our host! We're sorting out the details for getting Ms. Patti to come and shut the stage down, but we are also figuring out what will the event look like? Stay tuned for the next episode of The Jewel.
All proceeds from the 150th Anniversary Gala will go to Dillard University's SAFE Fund. The SAFE Fund is a scholarship that is awarded to Dillard students who are going through a financial hardship that is hindering them from continuing their education.To view photos from the 150th Anniversary Gala follow us on social media!
