Back in the show's prime, the infamously-heated Jerry Springer Show aired in Japan on TV Asahi from 1998 to 2000; Not much is preserved for these broadcasts as they aired at late nights, but it was presented in a dubbed form with Carolyn "Caiya" Kawasaki, an American model who had a famous career in Japanese entertainment at the time, acting as narrator.
Interestingly, an idea was made to give the show new custom theme songs. Like the ones heard in anime. The resulting songs were performed by a small, then-recent band named Spray (who formed in the same year "the worst show in America" made its way to Japan), a three-person unit that specialized in rock; A select portion of their songs were used to open and close the show.
Unfortunately, documentation on the band has been scarce in recent years as they quietly split in 2000; Their releases have not seen digital releases, and are currently out-of-print for the time being making them rather hard to find. These samples of the songs used in the show were sourced from Tower Records' online shopping site.
