I watched the 4th world warrior tournament for Japan, and with some crazy results, the standings look incredibly close. While Sahara and Kawano gatekept with the Ed and Akuma, two character specialists (Kintyo/Kincho Terry, and Akutagawa Manon) fought it out to get closer to being the point leader and qualifying for Capcom Cup.
