From March 6, 2024 to May 11, 2026, the Jackson Home was reconstructed and restored in Greenfield Village to its 1965 appearance.

Experts at The Henry Ford have spent years meticulously reconstructing the Jackson Home and restoring it to its appearance in 1965, when it played a pivotal role in the Voting Rights Movement. Inside and out, the home now reflects the period when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders gathered there to plan the 1965 Selma to Montgomery marches.
