Since February 28, the U.S.-led conflict with Iran has reshaped global energy markets, regional security, and the role that energy security places in foreign policy.
In this conversation, CSIS scholars and guests will look back at how markets and policy have adjusted to the closure and intermittent reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the role that energy infrastructure has played as a target in modern warfare. They will also look forward, toward how energy flows and shipping are related to ongoing negotiations and the potential long-term implications of this latest energy crisis.
