The fact that competitors are so focused on early launches could only mean one thing. It might just be that Apple is prepping for something significant. We've seen Cupertino stuck on iterative updates for years, and then this dramatic push to Pro video and photo capabilities on its Pro models, but this is the one moment where I'm actually gonna praise that AI is here. Whether you use it, care about it or don't, AI has single-handedly forced companies to stop skimping out on essentials like how much RAM you get on your phone, to just name one element of the spec sheet. It's the reason why any of you using base iPhone 15 units won't get the Apple Intelligence love the Pro variants will get.
