Bali and Lombok - Two islands of Indonesia are divided not only by water, but also an ancient invisible line. Animals and birds refuse to cross this imaginary barrier that runs through the entire Indonesian Archipelago. Known as the Wallace line, it separates Asian animals like Elephants, cats, Apes and Rhinos on the West, from Australian animals like Marsupials and Cockatoos on the East. Even birds do not seem to cross this line which is just 32 km at its narrowest point.
