Skullgirls is a 2D fighting game that just refuses to die. It's an absolutely gorgeous game with amazing soundtrack and deep technical gameplay. But what makes it so unique in my opinion is how much story and lore it has despite being a relatively recent title with only one game. The backstories of these characters are unexpectedly deep and worth knowing, if you're a fan of Skullgirls (or even if you're not).
