You wake up in a filthy apartment building with one problem that matters more than dignity:
Your left foot is infected.
It’s glowing. It’s itching like hell.
And something inside you is screaming one clear instruction:
GET TO THE ROOF. GET TO THE ROOF. GET TO THE ROOF. GET TO THE ROOF. GET TO THE ROOF. GET TO THE ROOF. GET TO THE ROOF. GET TO THE ROOF.
MOLDRISE is a first-person narrative horror adventure with survival elements.
It was made for the NOISE JAM 2!
Fight thirst, hunger, and your monstrous foot fungus while climbing a building that feels more alive the worse your infection gets.
The residents won’t save you.
But they do have things you need.
If you’re willing to do favors.
If you’re willing to pay.
If you’re willing to walk back down six floors for a bag of KRAZY Kraunchy Nutz.
And if you’re not?
You’ll die alone. Itching the whole time.
What to expect
First-person narrative horror in a disgusting, claustrophobic apartment building
Survival pressure: manage thirst, hunger, and worsening infection
NPC encounters told through dialogue only - no cutscenes, no narration, just faces in doorways and things they shouldn’t know
Barter your way upward: trade favors, scavenge supplies, and choose your rewards
Body horror with a stupid problem that becomes a serious one very fast
One objective: reach the roof before whatever is happening to you finishes happening
You are not going up there because you want to.
You are going up there because something in you needs it.
MOLDRISE is gross, tense, and darkly funny. Like scraping mold off a wall and realizing it’s scraping back.
