Track 17 from their 1975 LP 'The Magnificent Seven'. Written by Billy Brown.
A classic album I've had in my collection since it's release in 1975 - The Magnificent Seven by Ireland's 'The Indians'.
Sometimes referred to today as the Indians Showband.
20 tracks was an extremley generous amount of music for an LP when most artists had 8 to 12 on theirs.
The audio is crackly revealing it's fairly worn at this stage having been well played over and over across the years.
I would love to see albums like this remastered and released digitally but I'm not holding my breath.
I admit to owning no copyrights to this music but just have a desire to share these long forgotten gems.

The Indians are a very popular, very busy band, and when they're not on stage much of their time is spent travelling to and from dances and rehearsing.
They get fatigued and the energy they spend must be replenished, so every now and then they take a few days off to relax.
"The Magnificent Seven", is the fourth LP from the magnificent seven Indians was recorded mainly during what was to have been a rest period.
As well as their visual colour, the Indians are colourful musically. Leader Eamonn Keane (Sitting Bull), their musical director, has said: "We're neither country or pop,just a dance band."
Their appeal is wide and so is their choice of material. It's reflected in the titles on this LP, which is basically a collection of some of the ingredients of their stage act transferred to disc.
Apart from strings on several tracks, the sound is as it is at their dances.
The album includes four songs by Irish Songwriters.
Rita Skerritt, of Currandulla, near Athenry, Co. Galway, is an Indians enthusiast and has been to many of their dances. And it was at an Indians dance she told Shay O'Reilly (Medicine Crow) she had written a song that might suit them. Shay asked her to send her a tape of it. She dis so. The result is that the song "Bar Lovin Woman", is on this LP.
It should be a source of very real encouragement to Irish songwriters whose work is as yet unrecorded.
Billy Brown of the Freshmen, a skilled and imaginative songwriter with many compositions to his credit, wrote "Some Mothers Do Have 'Em".
Fran O'Toole of the Miami, winner of the Gold Star Award on RTE Television wrote two songs especially for the Indians. "Shy Little Indian" and "You Can't Stop an Indian Dance", which includes the phrase, "We meet lots of people, we make lots of friends where'ere we go".
It's a line that applies to the Indians because besides being talented and entertaining they're very friendly.
After a dance, instead of making a quick exit and hitting the road home for some well earned sleep, they stay around to talk to anyone who wishes to talk to them.
Manager Paddy Burns says this is "just as important as anything that goes on during the dance." Paddy thinks the Indians are so popular because of the varied, up to date dance programme,
the work behind the scenes, rehearsing, and because they're a friendly, exciting band.
This LP was made with the Indians fans in mind, but they hope it will appeal not only to those who enjoy their dances, but also to people who may know them only from records, radio or television.
And with such a wide selection of material and styles of music to choose from, it should do so.
