When it comes to working InDesign, preparation and organisation is key.

When we start working in InDesign and developing layouts, a lot can go into a document so it can be just as important what's going on outside InDesign, as what's going on inside.

Depending on your project, a document can include a lot of content, including many resource files and images.

So It will help to have a place to manage all your content and files during a project and also where you will want to export your files.

Before starting any Indesign projects, I would highly recommend taking steps to be organised which will greatly improve your workflow.

In this video, I want to discuss how to best prepare for your projects in InDesign.
