In August 2016, a violent Atlantic storm smashed the 17,000-ton Transocean Winner oil rig onto the rocky shores of Scotland's Isle of Lewis. This is the story of the incredible two-month salvage operation that followed. A team of experts raced against time and the elements to refloat the massive wreck and execute a high-tech lift using a unique semi-submersible ship, preventing a major environmental disaster in one of Britain's most remote landscapes.
