Data driven methods in dynamical systems for continuous time systems benefit best when they do not discretize the data. In a RKHS, occupation kernels allow us to embed a whole trajectory into a single function, rather than having each snapshot correspond to a function in a RKHS.
We look at several applications of occupation kernels; including motion tomography and a variation on the SINDy algorithm.
