To bring the wrong people in close and to listen to the wrong voices is extremely dangerous spiritually. It’s big open door for the enemy to speak and move through that person. That’s why using wisdom and discernment is so vital when making godly decisions of who to bring in close. You will know the right decision by looking at the fruits.
By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Matthew 17:16
