This is an experiment to determine the impact SWR and Axial ratio have on your video system. Admittedly I found some of the results quite contrary to my initial beliefs. The thing I found most surprising was that axial ratio didn't dominate when violating the Fresnel zone... a belief I had held for the last 5 years.

The Ion antenna was chosen as the gain is the same with the parasitic elements as without them. To de-tune the antenna, I simply added glue to the active element to push the SWR curve to the left.
