I finally purchased a handbag from The Horse after hearing rave reviews about it. I got it during their sale. There were many things that I liked about this bag but there is something that I can't get past. It is the smell. The strong chemical smell filled the room and even after a couple of days it was still very strong. I heard back from customer service that it was probably due to the plastic stuffing they used to keep mildew out. I separated the stuffing and the bag and after a few days the stuffing was not smelly but the inside of the bag still smelled. While the smell did dissipate a little after a few more days I can still smell it. I am requesting a return. I will keep you posted on what happens. Has this happened to your The Horse bag?
