Hello Guys.
Here you can see the unfortunate try to recut the Hobbit into another genre for the final round of the twisted vidder contest.
I swear, this was the hardest thing I've ever done! I really had problems with finding inspiration or even find the damn soundtrack. I decided then for a song from the LOTR movies so it will fit with the movie. I tried to to make a horror/slasher movie out of it, but I think it turned more into a psycho-horror-thriller-thingy XD
And now I'm sitting here in the Netherlands, on vacation, hoping the pixels won't appear XD I've waited a few more days to upload, just because of that.
DAMMIT YOUTUBE! You ruin everything with your damn pixles!

So here is the plot:
At the beginning everything seems harmless, when Gandalf asked Bilbo Baggins to join an adventure together with a group of dwarves.
But thedwarves doesn't make his life easy, letting him feel that he isn't one of them and when Bilbo finds a ring in a cave, everything changes. He changes, into something dark, cruel and merciless and taking revenge....

Twistes Vidder Contest Final Round Results

So overall you got 12th place out of 49 with a total of 394 points out of a possible 500. You were in a really close race with a few people around you.

For round 5, you scored 75 out of a possible 100 points. You scored really well in the entertainment category. I thought it was a great idea to explore the hazards of the ring and use that as the basis for your swap. It was really smart to choose something that already had a basis. The editing and the storytelling could have been a bit smoother. Without background knowledge of LOTR/Hobbit, I don't think the story would have been quite as clear. It also could have been a little bit creepier, although I know the creepy footage for Hobbit is a bit limited. But overall, it was a really good and creative idea!
