The Hive welcomes Colonel Tony Millican, PhD, from the US Air Force’s Air University. Dr. Millican developed and teaches the “Virtual & Augmented Reality for Learning in the National Security Enterprise” at the Air University. Students from across the US attend class inside VR using AltspaceVR, ENGAGE, Facebook Spaces, and other VR platforms. Each of the students is working on a master’s thesis on the subject of using VR, AR, and related technologies as tools for learning in some area of national security.
