Schubert's Serenade, also called "Ständchen" is a composition created by Franz Schubert in 1826. The melody has a very somber tone and has been covered numerous times by a large variety of artists. Here I try my best to show every possible cover I can find.
This is only part 1 of many. Part 1 focuses on Cylinders, a form of audio storage that is embedded onto a cylinder. This is one of the earliest forms of audio recording that could be played back.
