Join us on a new Expedition as we look at the Extinct History of Metroland. Once Europe's largest indoor amusement park located at the MetroCentre, A Mall that has slowly declined from being one of the premier tourist attractions in the UK and lost much of its uniqueness.

Metroland was designed to offer a family outing at a shopping centre, complete with roller coasters, arcades and multiple rides. A highlight of the northeast of England. After 20 years of operation, the amusement park was closed and replaced.

Metroland was a place many kids of England spent time and even rode their first roller coaster. Sadly it was closed and is now just a memory.
