This week on, Livin' Our Vision (LivinRVision), we’re searching for history in Georgia! We’re calling this trip, The Highway To More Roadtrip! Our first stop takes you back in time (way back) to learn more about the fascinating story of the Etowah Indian Mounds and the Muskogees, known then as the Creek Indians.
Next, we take you to a small historic town located on top of the largest gold deposits found east of the Mississippi River. Gold was first discovered completely by accident in the Dahlonega, GA area in 1828, 20 years before the Gold Rush to California. Did you think the first gold rush was in California? Many do.
Then we search for a last minute place to stay the night and find a gem of a place that is a Harvest Host that has electric (20,30 & 50 amp) and water hookups for only $8 a night…AND, you can get your hair and nails done there too! 👩🏻🦳💅🏻
