On March 12, 2020, the arrival of Covid-19 forced the High to send its staff home and close our doors to the public. That was an ugly day and the beginning of a remarkable twelve months. During this time nearly every facet of our business has been challenged. Very hard decisions have been made. We’ve struggled at times to find our footing. We’ve planned incessantly for a future that changed by the day. And we’ve worried about the health and safety of our team and their families. It’s been a challenging time for all of us.
However, the support of our members and community has been constant. Your continued involvement and investment in the Museum has fueled our resilience – every step of the way. You’ve inspired us to find ways we could serve you differently – online, at home, and when we reopened this past July, in person. Thank you for lifting us up and granting us the privilege of being a part of your life.
I look forward to seeing you at the Museum soon and often.
