Perched above Windermere, Wray Castle isn't your typical fortress, more resembling a fairy-tale church. Today, it stands as a charming location. We hike through the picture perfect grounds, dotted with ancient trees, and soak in the panoramic lake views.

Parking at White Moss Car Park is the perfect place to start your adventure to this hidden gem. the 30 minute walk takes you on a beautiful walk, overlooking Rydal Water and passing some of the Lake District's most beautiful scenery.

Nestled in the heart of the Lake District National Park, Ambleside is a charming town that's like a step back in time. Its cobbled streets are lined with independent shops, cozy cafes, and traditional pubs, all wrapped around a picture-perfect village green.
