Edinburg Manor is said to be Iowa's MOST HAUNTED Asylum! Many brave visitors have left with life-changing paranormal experiences. Ryan and Dave will spend the night in search of ghostly evidence of life after death.

Once the poor farm for Jones County, Iowa this land was said to be cursed before the Manor was ever built. From 1850 - 1910, the poor, criminals, or those with nowhere to go would find shelter at the poor farm in exchange for physical labor. Many people spent the rest of their lives here unable to escape the cycle of the Jones County Poor House. In 1910 the farm closed and by 1911 a new structure was built in its place to house the incurably insane, the poor and the elderly. This structure would be called Edinburg Manor. Edinburgh Manor, also referred to as The Manor, was in operation until November 2010 when it closed due to insufficient funds. After the living residents left, it appears that those who died their may still call Edinburg Manor home. Phantom footsteps, voices, and apparitions are perceived and captured on video and audio inside the building. People have been pushed, had their hair pulled, and even scratched by an unseen force that is said to reside inside these walls. $❌The Scariest HAUNTED Prison in Australia❌ || Paranormal Quest #haunted #paranormal Join us as we spend the night ALONE inside the Haunted Adelaide Gaol (Jail), which was one of South Australias most notorious prisons. While inside, we experience paranormal activity that leaves us shocked. Our friends at @haunted-horizons gave us the amazing opportunity to spend the night inside the Adelaide Gaol, in search of paranormal evidence. This prison is VERY well known for being haunted, but we had no idea what we was in store for us. #haunted #paranormal #ghost #ghosthunt #explore #paranormalactivity #hauntedhistory #ghoststories #hauntedprison The Old Adelaide Gaol was built in 1841 and operated for 147, before finally closing in 1988. In that time 300,000 prisoners passed through its gates, all serving time for wide variety of crimes. The fact that it operated until 1988 is shocking to us, because the conditions were appalling. Even at the time that it closed, the cells didnt have toilets. The prisoners were forced to do their business in buckets, even up until 1988. The cells were overcrowded, the food was almost inedible, cells were not temperature controlled, the prison was infested with vermin and prisoners saw this place as their own personal hell... maybe it was. The records know of over 300 deaths inside the prison which include 45 executions, all by hanging. From 1894 to 1950 the permanent gallows was inside one of the main cellblocks, which we will investigate tonight. All of this anger, rage, heartache, and violence has left many people believing that the Old Adelaide Gaol is one of the most haunted places in South Australia. $The HAUNTED Grand Midway Hotel (Worlds Largest Ouija Board) || Paranormal Quest® S08E21 We stay the night in the Haunted Grand Midway Hotel, the building which holds the world record for largest Ouija Board! How haunted is this hotel? We will find out! Subscribe, Like, and Share The Grand Midway Hotel was built in the 1880s to serve people traveling through Windber, Pennsylvania. This hotel quickly became an easy asylum for those who were hiding from criminal prosecution. Illegal gambling, illegal businesses, and at one time the hotel was even a secret brothel to serve the coal miners of Windber. Through its years, multiple mysterious deaths have occurred at the Grand Midway, making it rich with haunted history, and leading locals to believe the ghostly residents may still be staying here in these rooms. Blair Murphy purchased the Grand Midway Hotel in 2001 and decided to restore it while also use it as a safe haven for artists and their body of work. He has used many of the rooms to display artwork that other people would find weird or unusual. One of the art pieces that sparked interest and controversy alike still resides on the roof. A group of artists and paranormal enthusiasts gathered to paint the worlds largest Ouija Board (or talking spirit board) on the roof of the Grand Midway Hotel, and it still today is documented in the Guinness Book of World Records. Among the art pieces that have been brought into the hotel, some relics are believed to have ghosts, spirits, or energies attached to them and one room (The Canopy Room) is said to have 3 haunted objects that reside inside. The most controversial of all the rooms of the Grand Midway is up on the 3rd floor. For 2 years an artist named Dylan live in the room, painting giant portraits of demons, ancient god, and angels. Though most of the artwork was destroyed by the artist himself, many people were so terrified of the room that they nicknamed it The Demon Room. At one point, Blair believed it was the most haunted room of the hotel (until the Canopy Room claimed the crown).
