As the Amiga 500 and 500+ didn't directly support hard drives, an additional bit of hardware was needed.
Which resulted in both Commodore and the 3rd parties stepping up to expand the Amiga 500.
Arguably the best of the 3rd parties was GVP, Great Valley Products.
With the Impact Series 2, A500-HD+ being one of the most stylish and performant drives on the market.
So lets check out what it would have been like to set one up back in 1992, and how we would have gone about gaming on it.
