Oh lords, it's finally finished! It's not summer anymore, but as this grew into an almost 15 min monster, I think I have excuse for being late :') Finally getting to some of my favourite parts of the story that I've been waiting for 2 years - some edits are also 2 years old but I was bit too lazy to fix them. I got After Effects as well and started slowly learning how to edit with it, so you can clearly see the eventual shift from SV to AE throughout this part, especially after the training montage :D
I'm trying to keep developing the friendships between the four, hence why there are more chat scenes, lmao. Also I had outlines for more scenes for Merida&Hiccup and Jack&Rapunzel but as this part kept growing I moved them to Part 5. So those who especially like these pairs, no worries, they will have their own meaningful moments in next part too! My main goal is to give spotlight to each friend pair eventually~
As for shipping, with this part I can finally confirm that the romantic couple of the story will indeed be Hijack/Frostcup๐ (If it's not your thing I can promise you that the focus will still remain in the friendships between the four, with the ship developing along on the side.) I didn't want to reveal it from the beginning simply because I know the fandom's had a nasty history of ship wars, and also because I didn't want people to focus too much on it yet at the expense of other things. I'm sorry if my secrecy offended someone.
I also finally managed to find a new main theme for the series! Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill, one of my favourite songs (especially the Placebo cover) ๐ I originally was using Fate/Apocrypha's main theme for the series and variations had already been heard in Part 1&2, but then the ost got block and I had drop it ;( But with S4 of Stranger Things, one of my favourite songs of all times got lot of new amazing covers and I realised with those I can use Running Up That Hill as new main theme. So now you understand why it suddenly starts appearing through the rest of the series, haha๐

Okay, before everyone goes all whut da **** is this shitz?! let me say a few word. Remember my Break me Down vid and the story line? No? Okay, well, this is a part of it anyways. I wanted to edit something simple and wanted to try new things, and doing a FMV-like video seemed fun. And it was fun! So I dont care if it sucks~
It also plays as a promo for the upcoming prologue which will (in a chronological order) be the first part of the trilogy.
And about the vid itself: This just shows what happened when Kiries ritual ended up being a failure. Because of her feelings towards Yuna, her will to live was too strong and thus The Hell Gates opened slightly and let the Malice out. To put it simply: bad things happened and some people died. But because the Gates hadnt completely given in, priests sealed them temporary and thus the worst was avoided. But now they needed a new Maiden, and this time a failure would not be allowed. To Yuna, seeing it all happen was hard, especially when she knew Kiries sacrifice was meaningless. It may have been hard to run away later, after all this shit XD
And about the Ritual; its like in the PZ series: every 10th year a Shrine Maiden will be sacrificed, and the ropes, which pulled her apart, will be used to seal the Gates. A Maiden is chosen as a child at the age of seven, and shes not allowed to live outside and only with her priests/priestesses, who must use masks, making it hard to get to know each other. The Maiden, who has been living in loneliness, must wish for death and want to protect everyone else. That way the Ritual will be a success.
