Meet ¡Pleibol! project collaborators, Gabriel and Jody Lopez, as they take you through the incredible history of baseball in the sugar beet fields of Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming. These “Spanish colonies” of mostly Mexican agricultural workers used baseball for recreation and relief after their backbreaking work in the sugar beet fields.

This video is one of eleven produced by our project collaborators for ¡Pleibol! digital learning activities and engagement.
