On June 21, 2021, an old dog proved he had some new tricks. ThaRixer, one of the greatest speedrunners I've ever met and someone who I'm so lucky to call a friend, stamped his legacy firmly and proudly on Ratchet and Clank 1 NG+ and reclaimed the world record with a time of 18 min and 50 seconds. This beat the previous world record by Franzorr by ONE SECOND. In this video, I break down some of what I feel are the most important parts of the run. My goal is to teach you how to see what's happening so you can appreciate this amazing speedrun even more.

I tried to hit some more obscure parts of the run, since most people are familiar with Umbris, Rilgar, etc.

Please let me know if you liked this video and how I can improve this sort of content in the future. I tried to emulate GothamChess, my favorite youtuber, but I don't quite have the chops like Levy does so far.
