10 years on from its release, we take a look back at Automobilista, a title that wowed sim racing aficionados with its astonishing driving dynamics.
Created by Brazilian developer Reiza Studios, AMS harnessed Image Space Incorporated's gMotor 2 engine to deliver a driving experience loved by an all-too-small portion of sim racers.
With insight from Reiza's physics lead Niels Heusinkveld, we examine why the game is still so revered today, and why it ultimately failed to capture the imagination of the wider racing game and sim racing community.
