Well I'm back again, over my quiet period I went crazy and bought alot of Chanels. I was drawn to more vintage ones and picked up some gems.
I wouldn't ever say I thought I'd warm to the brand as much as I have. I guess over the years my favourite brands have to fallen into generic mediocrity and dross, which is sad. I'd say Chanel are the masters of beautiful classy generic and they've avoided (at time of making this video) using the bloody awful heavy molecular stuff that's out there now and no matter what (discounting the really dull male marketed line) they've stuck to what they've always done best. When you smell a Chanel, you know instantly it's a Chanel and it's very unlikely you'll get a brain melting headache or chocking feel from it. For me that's a really big deal with modern perfumery.
So aye what's your favourite Chanel? Are you a huge fan of the vintages? Have you unexpectedly fallen for them.
