The Lancer-class Frigate was the greatest anti-starfighter frigate perhaps in the entire history of Star Wars fleets. It was the perfect answer to the Rebel Alliance use of X-Wings, A-Wings, and Y-Wings, and would address the shortcomings of the Imperial Star Destroyers, and could have easily defended the Death Star and Super Star Destroyers.
