Upon release, I wasn't as excited about the Great Katana weapon class as most players. After labbing and playing around with it, it is definitely one of my favorite weapons in the game. A large reason for this is because of the Ash of War; Overhead Stance. This skill adds so much more depth to the weapon. You can use it to retain priority, as a feint, cancel the stance with crouches, and back step cancel with it. You can also get headshot true combos off of its crouching R1 and standard R1!
