The second and concluding day of our hike along the route of the Great Glen Way in Scotland. In the first part we managed to hike out of Drumnadrochit and found a fantastic wild camp site in the forest. We had a very early start and hiked the first hour in the dark with head torches but were rewarded with a beautiful sunrise over the Abriachan Forest. We then slowed down a bit as there was still a long way to go to reach the finish at Inverness Castle.
We plan to go back next year and hike part of the West Highland Way so watch this space!!
We were raising money to help one of our local charities called Cleobury Compassionate Communities and the total reached over £1000.
